I was a bit iffy when approached by Bzzagent to review Kroger brand products. Ive been very honest about my issues with Kroger in the past. However,when I was invited to the Kroger campaign,I figured I had nothing to lose,so I accepted the invite.
When I received my Bzzkit,it had a KrogerCo Fiji Apple Pear Mineral Water,a bag of KrogerCo Tortilla Cupz chips,coupons for a free KrogerCo pizza,and a coupon for a free box of KrogerCo fruit pops! The water was a little warm,so I put it in the freezer for about an hour. My mom was going to the store,so I gave her the coupon for the free pizza. She also got stuff to make a tortilla chip taco salad,using the provided Tortilla Cupz I received.
The result was delicious! We made shredded chicken,and used the Tortilla Cupz,shredded cheese,sour cream,cherry tomatoes,
lettuce,salsa,and spicy cheese sauce. We also popped the pepperoni pizza in the oven,and each had a slice. It was so good! And my water was just cold enough when we were ready to eat. It had a crisp,clean,apple flavor. Almost like a cross between fruit juice and tea! Definitely something I wasnt expecting from mineral water!
All in all,this experience was a good opportunity for myself,my mom,and my brother to get together and have some family time. It wasnt a "family game night",but it was a family fun night! Cooking is a great bonding experience to partake in with your family! I cant wait to try and share the fruit pops with them as well,when the coupon is used. Thanks Bzzagent,for the great opportunity!
