Olay Professional PROxclear Intensive Refining Sulfur Mask review

Even though Im almost 23(in 9 days to be exact),I still get breakouts some times. Not as much as when I was a teen, more or less one of two spots on my face at a given time. I have very sensitive skin, particularly around my mouth and chin area,as well as right by my nose. Especially when it gets hot out. So I need something that will take care of one or two zits or whatever, without having to put it all over my face. Because sometimes even THAT can make my skin worse. And washing with just soap and water doesnt cut it. So I was excited to try Olay's on spot acne treatment products when they gave away samples a few months ago. It never hurts to try(except for Oxy,but thats another painful story for another time).

The only sample I received was the 7mL tube of refining sulfur mask cream. And I must say, that is ALL I needed. Its lasted quite awhile. Because, see, you dont need to put this on every night. You ONLY use it when you have a breakout(between 1-4 spots you want to clear up),and you ONLY use enough to cover those little areas. You simply wash your face with water, pat dry,put a little cream on the affected area, spread it really thin and even. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes, and then wash and pat dry. Voila, easy. It is recommended that you do this once a day(I do it before bed),for 2-3 days until the mark is gone.

Ive been using it for about 2 months. To be honest,I never really notice if it helps or not, until I remember that the spot that was on my face the day before,is completely gone. So yes,it definitely works. And very quickly. And believe me when I say,I have sensitive skin, and had absolutely no reactions or irritation to this product. That being said, you should still test a little of it first, just to be sure. Everyones skin is different. The risks of dryness and irritation increase if you use more than one topical acne product at a time. And technically, this IS medicine,so all the usual rules apply(avoid contact with eyes, broken skin, and large areas of skin.) The only downside is that, being a sulfur mask,it smells like sulfur. Im used to the smell now,but at first it was kind of offputting. It makes the skin clear and smooth though! It reduces shine and absorbs oil, just what I need. I use different things,so sometimes its hard to tell what causing my skin to improve, but this was definitely noticeable and can be attributed to my use of this product. It completely works for me,and I'll definitely be buying some more once my sample runs out!
