I love hot pockets. They're one of the quickest meals you can make. However,I only have a few favorites that I like to stick to. I dont like the Pretzel ones,and Im not a fan of the Breakfast Pockets. But,I love the 4 cheese,broccoli and cheese,and pretty much ANY of the Lean Pockets. I had never seen the Barbecue chicken before,until a family member picked up a box at the store. Unfortunately it was the Pretzel edition,so I wasnt willing to try it.(The spinach Pretzel Pocket left an awful taste in my mouth,and I wasnt a fan of the smell). I looked them up online and saw that they DO sell the barbecue editions with regular crust. PERFECT! So after my mother went to the store to search,Kroger didnt have them. So I tried the next time I stopped by Walmart. Thats where I prefer to get my groceries because they have a better selection and lower prices than places like Kroger. Im pretty sure my mom is the only person in the world who still gets groceries at Kroger to be honest. But any way,they had a larger variety and the regular bbq chicken edition was sitting right in the middle.
When I got home and tried them later that night,I first noticed the smell was EXACTLY like that of a family barbecue. The chicken was perfect,tender and not too chewy like a lot of processed frozen chicken products. And the smoky barbecue sauce was amazing. Not too tangy,just right. And the crust is light and flaky,similar to that of a croissant. Id definitely recommend this Hot Pocket,if you're looking for a quick tasty idea to serve your family. Maybe get the economic family size box,and serve with a side salad! Or grilled veggies!

There are lots that I would love to try,but havent because they're not available locally. It would be totally awesome if you could order online and have them shipped freshly frozen,to your house! But until then,visit their website to see which kinds you'd be interested in trying,write them down,and go to wherever you get your groceries,and see if they're available where you are. You can also check online by typing in your zipcode and the product you want.
