Lindt was founded in 1845 by confectioner David Sprungli-Schwarz and his son Rudolph. To see more of the timeline of Lindt chocolate's history,go to their website

I also think its sort of cool that their chocolates have color coded wrappers. The codes are as follows
- Gold = white chocolate
- Red = milk chocolate
- Dark/Royal Blue = 39% minimum cocoa dark chocolate
- Black = 60% minimum cocoa dark chocolate shell with 39% minimum truffle center
- Light/Sky Blue = stracciatella (white chocolate shell with cocoa nibs / white chocolate center)
- Light Green = mint
- Dark Green = peppermint
- Bronze/Copper = peanut butter
- Hot Pink = raspberry
- Brown = hazelnut
- Orange = Orange
- Dark Brown = Coffee
- Brown = hazelnut
- I was lucky to find a special edition of Lindor truffles shaped like eggs, for Easter. They were smaller than the regular sized truffles, and were filled with the same milk chocolate filling as their main product. Their milk chocolate is my favorite,so I was excited to try it. The filling in Lindt truffles is always very smooth and cool. Exactly what I like my chocolate to taste like. They are very sweet,so if you're like me(not a huge fan of chocolate) you dont want to eat too many. But if you love milk chocolate, and can eat in larger amounts, you will be extremely satisfied! I look forward to getting some more next time they're on sale, but next time,I'll get dark chocolate instead :) Disclaimer: All of these opinions are mine. I bought these chocolates on my own time,at Kroger and am not being compensated in any way for my review.
